The Discovery Museum situated on Blandford Street, just off St James' Boulevard. Through the use of Multi-Media it re-tells the story of Newcastle and its Great Industrial Pioneers, Lord Armstrong, Joseph Swann, Charles Parsons and many more. There is a People's Gallery, a 'hands-on' Science Factory and the Turbinia Gallery. It also hosts special exhibitions throughout the year.
